Team Red Shamrock is a group of runners and cyclists – adults and kids! – that attend road races and other events around Iowa to help promote The Red Shamrock Foundation and raise awareness for its mission. We attend 4-5 events as a team each year; the more team members we can get out to these events at the same time, wearing RSF shirts, the better our presence and the more positive attention we can generate for the foundation. Also, studies show that cancer survivors who keep active and stay fit are at a reduced risk for cancer returning. We hope to inspire survivors to lead a healthy lifestyle.
